We cover all ages of baseball with a North Texas focus. We personally do not go into the greatest of depth, but we do rely on our correspondents to provide us with details of teams, players, coaches so we can put that info on our site and others can get an idea of how hot of an area DFW is for baseball from little league to the college level.
North Texas High School Baseball
Our main focus for TheZom.com will be high school baseball beginning in the mid-cities area and branching out from there. This means we will begin our coverage on teams from the following schools: L.D. Bell in Hurst (pictured here), Euless Trinity, Colleyville, Grapevine, Coppell, Ft. Worth Christian and Grapevine Faith.

North Texas Select Baseball
Within 50 miles of Euless Texas, home of the Jets Select Baseball organization, there are over 70 select baseball organizations, and most every one of those have multiple teams. Youth baseball is big in Texas, especially here in the North Texas area. We welcome news from all baseball organizations, this includes tryout dates, tournament dates, alumni who have signed with a college or pro teams, new hires and anything else you want to send us. North Texas College Baseball
Everyone knows the two big college programs in the north Texas area are TCU and UTA. Of course, we’ll have some news about them, but they really will be covered by all types of other websites and news outlets. However, there are some smaller college baseball programs in north Texas. These schools are the University of Dallas, Arlington Baptist University, Dallas Christian College and the Dallas Area Community College schools like Brookhaven, North Lake, Richland, Cedar Valley and others. Yes, now they are collectively all called Dallas College and the former individual colleges are simply branches of Dallas College. But we’re baseball people here and traditionalists, so we’ll just call North Lake North Lake and Brookhaven Brookhaven.

Little League / City Leagues
As with our high school coverage, we will look at cities in the mid-cities area and branch out from there in regards to covering little league and city leagues.
